The web has a long way to go when it comes to making it truly accessible for all. But we're all getting there in steps.
Years ago, the DREN website began its own efforts to be designed with accessibility technologies in mind, and we've learned a lot. As a result, we'll be building this section to help you to make your own site suitable for users of all abilities.
We'll be sharing pieces of code that work well not only for assistive technology, but also for multiple brands of Internet browsers. We'll be showing you examples of simple formatting rules that make pages easily adjusted to the user's preferences. And we'll have links to the powerful tools on the web that will let you test your pages for their compliance with the Web Accessibility standards group.
