Community Living Ajax, Pickering and Whitby is a non-profit organization that provides a valuable service in the community for individuals with a developmental disability and their families.
The Mission of the Association is to provide individuals with
• Residential supports
• Vocational supports
• Community access supports, and
• Support to families in a manner that respects and promotes the dignity of individuals with a disability and their families.
The purpose of the Association is to take a leadership role to promote and support within the community, the gifts capacities and natural relationships of all people who live with a developmental disability by:
• Promoting and protecting their rights, freedoms and values
• Recognizing and validating. the inherent strengths within families and communities
• Collaborating with people to direct their own lives;
• Engaging the community to welcome all people
• Promoting opportunities for all people to contribute to the community
