Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre - Oshawa
If you're out of work or underemployed, the Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre can provide the tools and teach you the skills you need in order to stand out from other job seekers. We'll take the time to learn about your needs, strengths and abilities, and help you to find and keep a job suited to your education, skills and work experience.
We offer a variety of services to job-seekers, including:
* A fully functional Resource Centre with free Internet access and an extensive catalogue of job postings, updated daily
* One-on-one employment counselling and job placement services
* Two types of employment workshops - a 3-day Job Club, covering all aspects of the job hunt, and a workshop for new Canadians, which provides assistance with some of the barriers facing new Canadians in finding work
* Online job postings
