  • Cognitive
    Involves the ability to think, concentrate, formulate ideas, reason and remember. It is distinct from a learning disability in that it may have been acquired later in life as a result of an accident or illness.
  • Developmental
    Limitations due to the presence of a developmental disability.
  • Hearing
    Persons who are Deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing.
  • Learning
    Refers to a variety of disorders that affect the acquisition, retention, understanding, organization, or use of verbal and or non-verbal information.
  • Mobility/Agility
    Limitations or lack of dexterity and deftness in the use of limbs and or performance of activities.
  • Pain
    An unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage. This experience is whatever the experiencing person says it is, existing whenever the experiencing person says it does.
  • Psychological
    Limited in the amount of kind of activities that one can do due to the presence of an emotional, psychological, or psychiatric condition.
  • Speech
    Difficulty speaking and/or being understood.
  • Visual
    Anyone experiencing difficulty in their lives due to loss of vision.
